Annahstasia

I have been a bit annoying about Annahstasia lately. I've been sending songs or videos by her to my friends for months. I don't know why it's taken so long for me to post about her here.

Perhaps I think Annahstasia is such a special talent that a post about her has to be just as special... well I'm getting over myself and just posting. It's more important that you know about this talented person than if I get the post just right.

I stumbled onto Annahstasia because of the song Sunday from her Surface Tension EP.

How does Annastasia sing like that?!!? Oooof.

Next, I listened to the album Tether as soon as it was released. The whole album is great but the song Believer absolutely destroyed me.

Right?! This was when I got annoying. I sent the song to a lot of people.

Buuuut! I got the reaction I wanted from a friend that I pestered to listen until they listened. And sent this text:

"hey! what the fuck!!!!!!! sobbing!!!!!!!"

And then a month later...

"hey so that annahstasia song recommendation was one of the best recs i’ve gotten in a long long time. that album is killing me, i cannot believe how incredible she is and how well produced the album is"
